An inspection of this Lenovo yoga laptop showed that the current McAfee antivirus protection had expired and there were several virus and spyware issues.

The solution was to remove the issues, install antivirus software, update the Bios and run Windows updates.

Once these steps were completed the running speed was back to normal.
